SafeSweet – A light medical support system designed to provide intuitive feedback and help people with type 2 diabetes maintain healthy routines after consultations.

Approximately 140 million people are living with diabetes in China, with around 95% of cases being Type 2 diabetes. Many patients find that adapting to a new dietary routine after diagnosis is both challenging and time-consuming. In addition, maintaining communication with healthcare professionals and sustaining adherence to recommendations following consultations can be difficult.

UI/UX & Service System

SafeSweet also includes an after-consultation support and feedback system that helps healthcare professionals better understand patients’ daily behaviours while encouraging patients to stay motivated and adhere to medical guidance.

Physical Prototype

Through iterative physical prototyping and user testing, I refined the product’s weight distribution, aesthetic qualities, and wearing ergonomics. This process also provided valuable insights into how users physically interact with the product, informing further design improvements and refinements.

Assisted in motor product design and 3D modelling, gaining experience in structural design, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and the development process of industrial products within a B2B engineering environment.

Contributed to consumer electronics projects through product styling, CMF development, and design research, while gaining hands-on experience in prototype development and manufacturing workflows.
