Brain damage is a part of boxing and is un avoidable, however boxers remain un informed on how much damage they take between spars and bouts.
This leaves boxers and coaches reliant on visual and internal cues rather than informed data. Protective sparring equipment does not aid in the protection of the brain. Boxers can’t quantify the amount of punches they receive during sparring matches. Lighter impactful punches are sub-concussive and accumulate over time

VELO is an AI powered gym training aid that utilises IMU motion tracking capabilities, to track the bar speed and patterns of gym exercises to help lifters of all levels achieve their own goals in the gym.
Certain lifts require certain movement speeds and tempos, most average lifters do not take this into accountability.
This concept is used by sports scientists when training performance athletes achieving goals such as muscle hypertrophy, muscle strength and muscle size.
The brief for this project was set for 10 days by DCA in my final year.

In this project I explored the use of lattice generation and parametric modelling in the Rhino 8 plug in Grasshopper
The brief for this project was to re design a product to improve its performance and analyse it’s economic viability. I chose to redesign the foam helmet liner of a bespoke road cycling helmet.
I used plugin within grasshopper such as (Weaverbird, Crystallon, Dendro and Intralattice) to generate the lattice region of the helmet liner. The final concept utilises a gyroid lattice pattern with preserved regions with in the ventilated areas.
