Designed for all new builds or renovation projects, AEGIRA combines interconnected communication units with a modular architecture to create a scalable, future-proof solution adaptable to projects of any size or complexity.

Manufactured almost entirely through injection moulding, AEGIRA combines standardised and adaptable components to integrate seamlessly with varying wall cavity depths while supporting efficient large-scale production for the growing new-build sector.

Prototype Functionality Demonstration

Mechatronics – FireGonTron

A group project with Oli Starke, Dan Law and Eben Chinn, focused on designing a remote-controlled firefighting robot capable of traversing obstacles and extinguishing candles.

The robot was designed, 3D printed, and coded entirely from scratch, resulting in a highly capable and adaptable solution that performed successfully throughout a series of technical challenges.

The final robot utilised a tank-style Christie suspension system with rubber tracks for improved obstacle traversal, alongside a rotating air turret controlled remotely via a custom-programmed PS3 controller. See the video below to see the robot in action.

Live Projects – Echo (1 Week)

Designed for modern screen-based lifestyles, Echo is a health-monitoring system that supports students, remote workers, and office professionals through continuous wellbeing tracking via a wearable earpiece, complemented by subtle behavioural feedback delivered through a mountable dock.

A year-long placement at Willson and Brown provided practical experience working on real-world engineering and product design challenges, developing skills in technical design, manufacturing processes, prototyping, and project collaboration.
