Faded Seaside


This project explores the decline of seaside towns through six woven designs featuring disrupted, manipulated and faded stripes. During the 1940s and 50s, the seaside resort in the UK was at its peak, representing leisure, fun, and an escape from day to day life. The outcomes from this project aim to create feelings of nostalgia and reflect the transformation these costal towns have seen in recent years.
