I’m a designer who enjoys approaching problems through a people-focused perspective, creating products that balance user needs with meaningful experiences. I’m driven by understanding how people interact with technology and strive to design solutions that feel seamless, accessible, and impactful.

The Problem

When renovating our homes, we aim to create spaces that truly feel right for us. Yet lighting, one of the most powerful tools for shaping atmosphere, is often overlooked. Wiring challenges, technical uncertainty, and a lack of confidence can make it feel intimidating and result in lighting regrets and extra costs down the line.

The Solution

Taeda is a modular, temporary lighting system that gives users access to the full range of lighting design components. It enables users to experiment, understand their options, and make informed decisions about the lighting that best suits their homes without the pressure of permanent installation.

The color temperature, intensity, position and shade shape can all be adapted. These settings are then entered into a website, which suggests permanent lighting products that match the chosen setup. Teada helps users understand their options and choose lighting for their home with more confidence and less risk.

Easy Assembly

No intimidating components, just four simple steps that bring the produts to life. Connect the lights to the remote, attach the arm, add the core module and then just place around the room as needed

Experiment

Taeda fittings give users a full range of settings to experiment with. There’s no right or wrong, simply what works best for them and their home. With no permanent fixings, the system stays flexible and easy to adapt.

Once a preferred setup has been chosen, the provided wall markers can be used to remember positions and selected settings. This gives both the user and installers on site a clear reference for placing the lighting exactly as intended.

Return the Fittings

Taeda is a lighting trial system designed to help users test and refine their lighting before making permanent decisions. The fittings are loaned for one week (extendable if needed), then returned so they can be refurbished and used in another home.

Decide on a Permanent Option

Users log onto the website and enter their lighting requirements, then receive a tailored list of lights that match their needs. They simply choose their favourite option.
