I’m a Textiles & Fashion student on the Art & Design Foundation Programme with a strong interest in creative processes, digital technology, and innovative design. My FMP focuses on 1970’s lifestyle and culture, inspired by the era’s fashion, design, and visual identity.

1970’s Pattern

This section of my digital showcase focuses on pattern design. Using Adobe Illustrator, I have developed a range of 1970’s inspired patterns influenced from themes such as flower power, iconic video games, and retro aesthetics.

Through this work, I have improved my digital design skills and experimented with colour, repetition, and composition to create visually appealing designs.

Spirographs

My spirograph designs have seen many stages of development, from photography of vinyls to tactile pattern compositions.

I have again utilised Adobe Illustrator throughout this sector of my Final Major Project, whilst I have also taken a significant focus upon mocking up my ideas into a “real life” context, through the use of Adobe Stock images.
