Hi! My name is Charlotte and my work is inspired by the concept of oneiromancy, dreaming and spiritual revelation.
My next destination is studying Fine Art at UAL Chelsea College of Arts.

My work revolves around the concept of oneiromancy (interpreting dreams to predict the future or gain divine insight) and oneiric film theory: A framework analysing how films emulate the subconscious through surreal imagery, fragmented narratives and emotional, symbolic storytelling rather than logical progression. Treating the cinematic experience as a shared waking dream.
In my work, the identity of figures are often distorted through digital manipulation such as pixelation. This creates a sense of anonymity and detachment which obscures the identity in a way that mirrors how people appear in dreams: recognisable yet indistinct.
