I’m a designer focused on shaping immersive spaces and experiences through atmosphere, storytelling, and materiality, creating environments that encourage interaction, emotional connection, and memorable engagement with the people who move through them.
Showcase Project – RUMI
RUMI is a concept designed for the future of hybrid working for digital employees ages 25-35. With this project, I am responding to the growing issue that young professionals face living in small or shared homes that aren’t designed to be productive and healthy working environments on remote work days.
As housing becomes smaller, increased sharing and expensive, many young professionals are forced to work from kitchens, bedrooms, or communal spaces that were never designed for focus, productivity or healthy work. RUMI proposes an alternative option. A network of neighbourhood workspaces that combine the comfort of working from home with the performance of being in an office.
Rather than functioning as a traditional co-working space, RUMI will be a local extension of the home for those remote work days that can’t be carried out at home. It will be calm, flexible, accessible and centred around well being.
Aperol Museum
This project explored how lighting can shape narrative, movement, and atmosphere within an immersive brand experience for the Aperol Museum. The design guides visitors through a sequential journey that begins with the history of Aperol and gradually transitions into a social and lifestyle-focused environment. Using contrast, colour, and controlled illumination, each space creates a distinct emotional response while maintaining a cohesive visual identity inspired by Aperol’s iconic orange branding.
The journey moves through a timeline corridor, immersive transition spaces, illuminated memorabilia displays, branding installations, and interactive Spritz, making exhibits before concluding in a vibrant Aperol bar.
Throughout the project, lighting acts as both a functional and storytelling device, directing circulation, highlighting artefacts, and reinforcing the transformation from historical education to contemporary social experience. The final outcome represents Aperol not only as a drink, but as a cultural lifestyle centred around connection, celebration, and atmosphere.
My Placement at Denton
I spent my placement year with Denton, an office design and fit-out company. I worked on several projects with the team and gained invaluable experience, learning and opportunities.
Toward the end of my placement, I was set the task of designing a speculative office for the brand Patagonia.
