Set within the historic grounds of Calke Abbey, ‘Basestate’ Festival is an immersive electronic music experience celebrating the sounds of drum & bass, techno, and house culture in a unique open air setting. The festival is aimed towards 18-25 year olds and seeks to create an unforgettable weekend that blends underground music with the natural beauty and heritage of the estate.
Basestate is designed to bring together music lovers and creatives through high energy performances, visual arts, and interactive experiences, with a key focus on atmosphere and inclusivity. I was inspired by the energy of indoor raves, clubs, and the freedom of outdoor festivals to create an event that connects people through music culture and the adrenaline of live music experiences.
