My work focuses on relationships, trauma, heritage and storytelling. I create large scale installations and performances, using the senses as a way to connect with the audience. There is no right or wrong, only what you choose to see.

barnet i köket, 2026

“the child in the kitchen” – english

barnet i köket, 2026, is a large-scale installation built using multiple textures and colours for a uniquely sensory experience. Being built mainly with paper, the installation is designed to have wear and tear, much like how people are easily bruised, we’re fragile. The audience are provided with crayons and are able to draw wherever and whatever they desire, creativity is built within us. It is designed to mimic a real kitchen, inspired by the one from the house I grew up in, and by kid’s play sets.

Instead of using myself in performance, it’s the audience’s time to shine. Your interaction within the installation, whether you’re just glancing, or taking a seat at the dinner table, this is all for you. Ditt öde ligger i dina händer.

Practice Overview

As a multi-media performance and textile artist, my work is deeply influence by my own personal experience. I’m odd, eclectic, and I’ve had my fair share of life experiences. I embrace discomfort, comforting the disturbed and disturbing the comforted. Inspired by horror, theatre and the 5 senses, I create in order to connect to an audience and offer the same solace that my art has brought me.

Using a mixture of materials in my work, I create costumes, dolls, paintings and installations that focus on storytelling, texturising, and being ‘weird’. These creations use shock and common ground to reach the audience, drawing people in and allowing them to create their own narrative, while still getting the basic theme and message across.

Full live performance with overlayed music. There was a series of questions on all 4 walls of the gallery, with participants acquiring the pens for answering from myself, limbs bound, laid across a table, like a piece of meat.
An extract from a 10 minute performance video, att förneka (2025). This is the final part, where the fourth wall is broken and poem, Boots (1903) by Rudyard Kipling, read aloud by Taylor Holmes, is overlayed.
