My work explores what it means to feel human, especially in a time where so much of our lives are lived through screens. Through large-scale, expressive paintings, I use colour, movement, and layered mark-making to convey warmth, emotion, and connection.

More About My Work

I often begin with real moments shared with friends and family but move away from the literal, focusing more on how these experiences feel rather than how they look.

The figures in my work aren’t fixed or perfect — they’re built through layers, erasures and gestures, reflecting the instability and constant shifting in our lives. I work with a mix of materials, allowing mess, risk and spontaneity to guide the process, embracing chaos as something honest and necessary.

In a world that often focuses on appearances and digital validation, my work is a reminder of what actually matters: connection, empathy, and presence. It’s about energy, feeling, and the shared experience of being human.
