I am a Jordanian-Circassian industrial designer interested in creating thoughtful, engaging design experiences. My final major project led me to specialise in Product-Service Systems, where I explore how products, services and user experiences can work together with purpose.

Meet LEX.

LEX is a distraction-free phonics learning companion designed to support primary school children through clear, repeatable, and hands-on practice.

Using physical LEX cards, audio guidance, a dyslexia-friendly display, and a detachable writing pad, children can listen, repeat, read, and spell at their own pace without the distractions of apps.

LEX helps children build reading confidence one sound, one word, and one card at a time.

LEX Card Packs.

The LEX card packs are structured around the British primary curriculum, with Year 1, 2 and 3 content mapped to age-appropriate phonics, spelling patterns and word-learning expectations.

Each pack breaks curriculum words into short, guided activities so children can practise at a manageable pace.

User testing with children also informed the visual design of the cards, including font choices, larger text sizing and bold, engaging colours that easy to understand.
