Receive: Once assessed and prescribed Cove, patients receive a delivery containing the Cove device, 3 mouthpieces, a charger, storage kit, instruction manual, 15 pre-prepared meals and access to the Cove app.
Use: Patients use Cove over a 1-week period to track meals and medication, while completing breath tests to monitor key malabsorption biomarkers. 3 breath tests are completed for each meal: before eating, 1 hour after, and 2 hours after. Meal and medication information can also be edited within the app.
Return: The device is returned within the reusable storage kit. Devices are disassembled, cleaned and sterilised, ready for reuse.
Results: AI analyses the collected data to identify medication efficacy and support personalised dosing recommendations, which are reviewed by clinicians and shared with patients through the Cove app.
