WaterWatch is a community-led flood resilience platform that connects communities, Flood Action Groups, councils, and environmental stakeholders through shared environmental data and local action. Using simple reporting tools, citizen science tasks, live mapping, and community events, the service transforms local observations into crowdsourced datasets that help fill information gaps and support more informed flood management. By combining community knowledge with collaborative action and professional insight, WaterWatch encourages proactive flood prevention, strengthens local resilience, and creates more connected and holistic approaches to managing flood risk.
