‘A Visit to the Bluebell Woods’ is an illustrated middle-grade book currently in development. Planned as the first in a seasonal series, it follows the sketchbook of a grandma as she takes her two grandchildren into a folklore-inspired spirit world. They discover fairies, fire-breathing salamanders, dragons and a tribe of bee keepers, and are taught how to make ‘honey scones’, ‘chocolate fly cookies’ and a ‘hennin’ hat.
