Through iterative development, my research and ideas were translated into a physical model exploring how furniture can influence social interaction at times of mindfulness, gathering of just being ‘present’ in the moment – all of which are things I value greatly. Initial observations informed experiments and prototypes which were refined through making and testing.
The final outcome became a functional yet conceptual piece reflecting presence, togetherness and cooperation through playful design.

Other design ideas and mini experimental models to help inform ideas for fine, refined collection.
